Carson's 1st Official Business Minus The Tax ID Number

Carson was getting really frustrated that Kaylee was making money by babysitting for us and finally decided he was going to take action of earning some cash. He took this idea from one of his cousins. Check out his flyer he made (sooo cute!) Once the flyer was made he took off to find some customers who he just knew couldn't pass up his offer. He has 5 customers and he has made $30.00 so far. You should see the smile on his face when he flashes me his hard earned money. Ben fronted him some money for supplies and Carson has to pay Ben back for taking out a loan. Carson was all for it. I'm very proud of him for taking the initiative. He has just began with the beginnings of his own business. He says there is still more customers waiting for him to save them from their stinky garbages!!! Can you imagine him knocking on your door with those big blue eyes and freckled face asking you to clean your garbages!! How could you resist, I told him he needs to play that up!!

Ben loaned him money for his brush and gloves.
Don't you love his little assistant.

Canyons Peanut Dance/3 years old

Canyon has been making us laugh with his latest dance. Oh yes Canyon likes to dance. I have him doing a Hip Hop dance on another video! It's hilarious but this Peanut Dance is pretty cute. I know that things aren't as cute when it's not your child but I am going to share this anyway because we get a kick out of it and it always makes us laugh. Now presenting the One and Only "PEANUT DANCE BY CANYON PALUMBO"!

Easter 2010

We had a fun time watching the kids on their Easter Egg hunt. It's so funny to see the older one's just has excited as Canyon. We celebrated Easter just with our little family. We had a wonderful dinner and enjoyed listening to Conference in between telling the kids to stop provoking and touching each other! We are truly grateful for our Savior's Atonement and resurrection.

Trying hard to keep a straight face!!

I know I am not the only parent who when disciplining has a very hard time keeping a straight face and end up laughing when they do things that are so hilarious but yet not ok therefore have to suffer the consequences, in this instance time out. This was one of those moments. I cannot remember what he was in trouble for (he's 3, he's there often. I can't keep track) Anyway I went to go put 3 minutes on the timer and I turned around and this is the face I saw, I just lost it and told myself I had to capture this moment so one day I can share this with Canyon when he is a parent one day!!! Just couldn't resist!!

2nd Place Finish in the Pine Wood Derby!!

The smile says it all, Carson's car won every heat it raced until the final winner heat and he came in 2nd place!!! I don't know who was more excited Carson or Daddy! Last year we didn't do so well so Ben and Carson worked hard and learned a couple of new tricks to improve this year finish. Ben was intently watching with Carson and excitement grew every time he won! Ahh.. the little moments in life... Fun times.

Some of the Young Women and leaders came and decorated Kaylee's room while I took Kaylee to the store and when we got back they surprised her. They wanted to let her know they were so excited to now have her in Young Women's. One of the leaders made a very cute Beehive cake. Our Young Woman's Leaders and the girls have truly made this so special for Kaylee. She was truly surprised!! Here are some pictures of the surprise.
